We had some friends over to swim earlier this week. They had seen the movie we made and all the kids decided they would like to make a movie with their friends, so here is what they came up with.

Movie making
I got new video editing software, and it reminded me of my college days when I was into movie making with my friends. So I told my kids about it and watched the movies I made in my past. Well the kids, of course, wanted to make a movie of their own. So they made up a plot, got on costumes and we made a cute little movie. It is for your viewing enjoyment.

Festivities of our 4th.
Since the 4th of July was on Sunday this year, we did not head out to the lake like we usually do. We attended Church and then had our great Friends, the Holms, over for dinner and fireworks. Lynn made this adorable flag cake and we at yummy food. The kids had mini burgers and the grown ups had huge steaks. So yummy!!!

The fireworks show was fantastic. We may never leave home on the 4th again. The neighborhood was lit up all around in fireworks blasting in the air. It was more than a small town would have for an their entire show. I was really fun and spectacular. Our guys had fun too lighting legal fireworks in the yard while watching the nieghborhood show.

Lobster fest
A couple weeks ago, my baby brother, James, who is no longer a baby, came to visit. We had so much fun having him here with his cute wife and adorable 3 daughters. One of the funniest things that happened was when he brought home seafood, lots of it. A huge amount of extra large shrimp, and three live lobsters.
We forced the kids to take pictures with the Lobster and that was Hilarius. Jennedy was not scared and even pretended to kiss one with James. Jerika pretended to be scared so we would have to drag her to take a picture. Jacqueline was upset about hurting her foot earlier and bawled so much when we dragged her into a picture. It made for an awesome picture though and she is happy we made her. Her are the pics....

When James put the first two lobster in the boiling water, the third one went crazy and started flapping all over the counter, knocking himself on the floor and trying to get away. We were all screaming and laughing and Jerika Ran out of the room screaming. It was so funny and fun.
