Happy Birthday Jennedy

So Jennedy turned 4 today and she continues to crack me up, she wanted a wedding themed party.

But She has been uber sick for the last 5 days. It started with a headache, she was moaning and crying about. Then moved onto sore throat and fevers. She had a fever the whole time we camped and slept in our tent most of the day and nights. She would come out and play a bit when her medicine would bring her fever down but it was rare. Still, she is a trooper and hiked over a mile with us on Saturday.

Well come to find out she has foot and mouth disease. No fun, It a sickness where you have high fevers, sore throat and sores in your mouth. She has them all over the inside of her mouth, poor sweetie pie. She has been sleeping right next to me for the last five days. We had to cancel her birthday party with friends today, since she wasn't up to it, but we still had a fun time with her today and made her feel uber special.
She has been talking non stop about have a wedding dress and veil for her party and getting married. So I bought her a wedding dress for her birthday and made her a veil. She also got to pick all her favorite things to eat each meal. She chose...

We painted toe nails, she did not have to do any chores, she ran all the games we played outside and helped decorate her cake. We made two, so that hopefully she will be able to still have friends over when she is feeling better and no longer contagious.

Jennedy is a such a vibrant, happy child and we are so blessed that she is in our family.

Been Busy

I have not done a post in weeks because life has been busy busy busy. The kids are home form school and we are playing hard.

This last week I took a trip to Utah I left at 4:30 am on Tuesday morning, got to my parents home on Tuesday evening, ate at Cafe Rio. Then the next day headed to Salt Lake City to For a call back audition for "the Biggest Loser" My brother auditioned and got a call back after sending in his video, then he went to that with my dad and they got a second call back and asked me to come, since my dad will be in China when the show filmed. So I drove down for the audition, and headed back right after at 1:30pm on Wed and got home at 2 am in in the morning Thursday. It was crazy. I will let you know if we make the show. It is a long shot as over 250,000 people audition, but we made it to the national level so now they pick 22 people out of the 200 who are left.

Then on Friday this last week we went camping with our Friends, the Hamblins and the Merrils. We all have four small children so it was a fun adventure. Trenton is the only boy in the bunch and there were two sets of twins. It is so much Fun to have all these little ones

We hiked, ate, swam, made smores and had a wonderful time together. I got a lot of great photos so I am sharing them now.

We hiked about a mile up to a tunnel that was so windy. Here is a video clip of when we got there.



I have such great friends and wonderful people in my life and we had a super fun time together. Oh and that last picture is for all of you to see how much I need to be on the show so wish me luck getting on the Biggest Loser Show, I really need it!!! LOL
