72 hr kits

So we were told to have a 72 hr kit in case of an emergency. A bag we can grab and head out it seconds that will sustain us for 3 days. Well we have them, but every conference time you are supposed to go through them and update them so they are not all expired food. So we did that for the first time ever. It was funny because so much of the food was so old, ones we did in 2006 particularly. So I headed out to Costco to get the needed supplies.

Then with the kids we updated all their backpacks. The kids loved it. It is funny because they didn't even remember that we had them for them. Here we are after finishing up our kits. So we are ready. Lets just hope we dont have an emergency and have to use them.

Hey Tiffany! I browsed to your blog from Julie Swindlers'. What a great blog! You have a darling family. Missed you at the PHS reunion, Mike Hugo and Ben Metzger were the only other Franlinites, so we spent a few hours catching up. Hope all is well with you.
