Thirteen

Here is the thirteenth picture in the thirteenth folder....

This is me When I was in 6th grade. My mother made the dress, she made many of my clothes and is a sewing genius.

I was really into the Dorothy Hamill haircuts in those days. It was a major cool thing in the Early 80's. Dorothy Hamil was a famous figure skater in case you are too young to remember or were not even born when she was a popular ice skater.

Here is a picture of Dorothy. See how adorable she was. I also put in a clip of her doing her thing, she was a wonderful skater and She inspired many a young girl, Including myself.

Tiff, Your mom and I sitting here in China, just watched your twin, Dorothy Hamil skate. She does look good and love her hair. We think you were so much like her. Could not skate, but could act and sing better than her. We loved your hair and you. We both agreed on that. You look good.

Tiffany, I had the cousin of the Dorothy Hamil haircut - the Toni Tennille! It was similar, but instead of "wings" where it flowed back, it was curled under all the way around. I loved it at the time, but looking back, I guess I looked like I had a bowl turned over on my head!
