Please Pray for Tammy

We had a terrible tragedy happen in our family on Friday. My youngest brother, James was watching his three girls in his hotel room in St. George while his wife was at her nursing trials. Tammy, their youngest daughter who is almost five months old, pictured with me below...
Was trying to sleep and her 3 and 1 year old sisters were loud and making her fussy, so James put her in the bathroom to sleep where it was quiet and turned on the bathroom fan for the white noise. Then he went to get the girls down for a nap and they all fell asleep. Later he went to see if Tammy was hungry thinking it was time for her to eat, and when he opened the door he walked into a sauna like condition. The room was extremely hot and the bathroom fan was pumping in heat instead of pulling air out of the room.

James picked up Tammy, she was limp and then she started having seizures, he grabbed all three of his girls and rushed to the hospital, he called 911 on the way and got there in 3 min. When they arrived at the hospital Tammy's temperature was 108 degrees and she was not breathing well. She had Severe Heat Stroke.

Tammy was was hooked up to a ventilator to breath but continued to have seizures all night long even with heavy anti seizure medicine. She was life flighted to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt lake City.

Saturday she was able to breath on her own but needed oxygen flowing so that she could keep her airway open that was inflamed due to the earlier breathing tube. She started to breath on her own and was able to come off the ventilator.

On Sunday, she started to open her eyes. I got to skype with my brother James and his Wife in the Hospital and took some screen shots of Tammy as she opened her eyes today. Hopefully she will wake up tomorrow and we will see how her brain handled the heat.

Wake up Sweet Tammy, come back to us, we love you, and are praying for you.
